Hey Ive faced this problem:
I have newpoints active on my forum, and sometimes some random users earn points even they dont do anything.
For example, I created a test account back then, and it had 5 points. I havent even logged on to it for a while and now it has 50 points.
Why does this happen? How can I fix it?

Newpoints Edit Through Postbit v0.2

By default, Newpoints allows you to edit newpoints through AdminCP. This plugin allows selective usergroups to edit user's newpoints from postbit. You can chose whether you would allow users to edit "their own" newpoints.

NewPoints Category Bug

Well, i loved the plugin as soon as i saw it but when i installed it and went to the category "New Points" it was empty... i could only see some boxes with lines glitched and that stuff... any idea ?

MyPS to Newpoints

Hello I have been using a plugin called MyPS for point system, Now I want to use Newpoints Plugin instead of that, But I want to know a few things before I start using it.

1) Many of my users already owned some points while using MyPS, is it possible to use start using newpoints with those points being allocated to users?

2) I want to know is there any way to edit (ADD or SUBTRACT) points without logging in to Admin CP?

I just started a forum and wanted to set it so when users started a thread in a certain forum, it would remove points from them. That's the easy part, I simply set the income rate in the forum rules to negative.

The problem is, that affects the whole income rate (new replies, etc) and I don't want users who reply to the thread loosing points. As a matter of fact, I want them to earn points.

Is there a way of either adding an option in the income settings so you could choose a forum/category there? Or the better (but I think harder) option of adding the whole Income Settings to the Forum Rules instead of just an income rate.

It isn't showing the points in the post-bit in the new theme. I assume it needs to be re-activated..

when i want to install and activate bank v2 this problem comes:

MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
1060 - Duplicate column name 'newpoints_bankoffset'

I have installed Newpoints to my forum, and I see that I have 0.10€ points on the Admin account, but I dont see the Newpoints maintenance page anywhere. It didnt appear next to Tools & Maintenance. In the Plugins tab it says that Mypoints is installed.

Also when I click the 0.10€ which the Admin account has, this page shows up:

Not Found
The requested URL /newpoints.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

What should I do?
