[HELP] - I tried changing this, but it didn't apply - tykez - 01-22-2010

[Per Visit
Amount of points received everytime a user visits the forum. ("visits" = new MyBB session (expires after 15 minutes))]

I wanted to change Per Visit
("visits" = new MyBB session (expires after 24 hours))

But after I changed it in the inc/plugin/newpoints.php
it doesn't apply.

can you help me with this?

A MyBB session expires after 15 minutes by default. It has nothing to do with NewPoints. That setting will only change the amount of points given whenever someone creates a new session

So it would be better to change the
Cut-off Time (mins)
The number of minutes before a user is marked offline

in the admin / board settings?

Or where can I change that myBB session expiration value?

I believe you can change it in board settings but I'm not sure.

I tried to figure this out. But I can find where to change this "mybb session" time. Sad

I'm not sure if you can, let me check..

Nope, you can't, it's hard coded into class_session.php
