RE: Help Center 1.4 - iamazn - 04-10-2010

Where do I create a link to it?

RE: Help Center 1.4 - Diogo Parrinha - 04-10-2010

To helpcenter.php?
It's up to you not me. Edit the templates and add the link

which template do I edit?
and would this be correct?
&nbsp;-&nbsp;[<a&nbsp;href="helpcenter.php]">Help</a>]

edit: Also, instead of misc.php?action=help, I want it to go to helpcenter.php. Is that possible?

RE: Help Center 1.4 - Diogo Parrinha - 04-10-2010

You choose the template, not me. You choose where you want to add it, not me.

Add:
Code:
<a href="{$mybb->settings['bburl']}/helpcenter.php">Help</a>

Wherever you want

RE: Help Center 1.4 - atomjani - 04-28-2010

I would like to create a new field. When I do a new ticket category, I would like to add a new field.
For example, I make a "report user" ticket category, where the user can select the following:
-Injury
-Using a pseudonym,
-Porn images
-Etc.

Then I want to create an "ad" category of tickets, which are available in the following fields:
- Partner Program
- Banner ads
- E-mail notification
-Etc.

I still want to make more tickets available to other categories of fields.

I think that this feature is useful and necessary not only for me. Be able to put the next version?

RE: Help Center 1.4 - Diogo Parrinha - 04-28-2010

That's not possible and will not be added.

Re: Help Center 1.4 - ccalby - 05-01-2010

There is a bug when you edit a help document Smile

RE: Help Center 1.4 - Andraž Rihtar - 05-01-2010

I think I've found a bug Tongue

Whenever I edit a Help doc it duplicates it and if I delete an help doc, the category still says the same number of help docs to be inside, even if there is none.

I've also found out (just now) that it "magicaly" deletes the help docs from the categories. However, I don't know what causes this :S

I would be VERY grateful if you could fix these bugs Smile

Could you please try the helpcenter.php I've attached to this post? Replace the one in your root with this one. Should fix both issues you have reported.
Are you using MySQL?

That is not possible since the only delete query for help docs is the one in the Delete Document action.

Ok, could be my mistake Wink
Yes, that new file has fixed both problems (duplicating and the doc count). Thank you for such a quick responce and such a quick fix as well!
