This plugin was coded by Pirata Nervo but is based off Asad Khan's Spicefuse Shoutbox.

I am releasing this plugin with his permission and I may NOT break any of the following conditions:
  1. Have a link back to the spicefuse.com on the forum post or any other page that distributes your code, including any readme files. In other words, have a linked version of the Spicefuse Shoutbox text.
  2. Retain my author credits(Asad Khan's credits) for the old code.
  3. Keep it free. Smile

Official Spicefuse Shoutbox website:

Official MyShoutbox website:

New features:
  • Private Message command - /pvt (/pvt USER_ID_HERE Message)
  • Deleted shouts are not deleted but hidden from normal users except Super Mods (if they have permission to delete(hide)) and administrators. The hidden shouts can be removed or recovered.
  • Popup Shoutbox (Normal)
  • Portable version (doesn't use javascript so many features are not available)
  • Allows HTML if the setting is set to Yes
  • Support for videos in MyBB 1.6
  • Admins can set which usergroups can view the shoutbox as well as choose if additional groups are checked.
  • An admin page which allows admins to unban or ban users and view who's banned.
  • Users can report shouts and admins can manage reports.

If any of the old features (created by Asad Khan) have any bugs, they were introduced by ME as the original code didn't have any bugs as far as I know.

OMG! Reporting shouts! Can you PLEASE add the reported shouts into the ModCP? That would be awesome.
Double post
It screws my layout. I checked the templates but it's perfectly normal. There's no extra 'mysb_shoutbox' or whatever. Just like before I upgraded.
You can check it here: http://www.paparanho.com/forums.php
Hmm it seems fine for me, just add a <br /> at the top of the template 'mysb_shoutbox' and 'mysb_shoutbox_bot_disabled'
No won't add it to the Mod cp (at least for now Tongue but might be added in a future release, thanks for the suggestion).
That's not what I meant.
Look at these attachments (imagine the second one had a shoutbox in the redline).

You see the 'Marcar Todos os Fóruns Como Lidos | Equipa do Fórum'? It's supposed to be in that green rectangle as shown in the 2nd screenshot.
Try putting at the header
Yeah I've tried that already and it works. But I want the shoutbox on the bottom.
Then it won't work properly lol
Edit:
unless you give me access to the admin panel and I will fix the theme
nice features, but the tabs are now over the shoutbox, instead of over the forums. is there a way to fix that ?
otherwise i stay on 1.0
live forums are corently down due a server issue you can view this in my test forums banana.kilu.de
oh and i use to have the shoutbox in the portal too, but with this version i cant add a tag
That's because MyShoutbox is not meant to be run with the tabs plugin, I might release 1.2 tomorrow with a setting to choose if you want to use the no-edits features or not
thanks, but i have allready solved it just changed $forums to $tabmenu in the sb code Tongue
edit: sb in portal solved to, now i can integrate it into the game section Big Grin
