I had this installed for a long time, then one day, it wouldn't stop displaying the loading text. and every post in the chat box was coming up as undefined. Any suggestions ?

As I have said, it's not possible without editing the code everywhere it displays shouts. Search the code for that. I'm sorry but I can't just keep editing the code for everyone.

Is there any way that moderators can ban members in the shoutbox or can only Admins do that?

No, only those with ACP access can ban people.

Add {myshoutbox} to the portal template

Won't that add the same shoutbox but on the Index.... ?

I want a different one .... meaning that the content of the two shoutbox is different.........
