No, Yumi/ZiNgA BuRgA created MyPlaza, I ported it to MyBB 1.4 and added new features/fixed bugs and called it MyPlaza Turbo

NewPoints is completely different from MyPlaza and not all modules will be ported to NewPoints plugins
